Anupama Parameswaran Reveals Why She Considered Quitting Acting

Anupama Parameswaran has opened up about how narcissistic abuse affected her personal life and career.

She said the experience very badly affected her confidence and mental well being and there was a time when she even thought of quitting acting.

The actress recalled feeling like she was only trying to get through each day instead of enjoying life. She also sought therapy and found the right support to help her recover.

Anupama said the experience also affected her performances though she is proud that she continued working despite the difficult phase.

She added that speaking about her experience has helped many people understand narcissistic abuse and identify similar patterns in their own lives. Anupama is now gearing up for her Telugu film Crazy Kalyanam.
